WEST HARTFORD, CT--Among the highlights of the 30th annual KITT for the Wild Boars were the victory in the #4 singles flight by Eliot Jia '06 and senior captain Mark Goldberg's trip to the final at #3.

WALLINGFORD, CT--Choate and Hopkins managed to complete 6 doubles and 13 singles matches in the course of the scrimmage.

ROCKY HILL, CT--In their season opener, the Wild Boars posted a victory over the Pelicans playing indoors on a wet, muddy day when few other athletic teams from either school were in action.

WALLINGFORD, CT--Choate hosted the Exonians on a day that started damp and overcast and ended warm and sunny. After a quick round of doubles inside the Johnson Athletic Center, the two squads contested the singles outdoors at the Hunt Tennis Center in perfect spring weather.

SIMSBURY, CT--The Choate boys fended off a young Martlets team in a late afternoon contest at the picturesque Westminster tennis facility.

WALLINGFORD, CT--Hot weather arrived in Wallingford as the Wild Boars hosted the Hoggers in a fine match-up of young and deep teams. The hosts swept the doubles but narrowly lost two of the six singles points.

CHESHIRE, CT--Playing on an afternoon some 40 degrees colder than the day before, the Blue and Gold swept the doubles play before dropping two tight singles matches of the six contested.

WALLINGFORD, CT--Choate swept the visitors from Pawling in a League contest at the Hunt Tennis Center.

WALLINGFORD, CT--The Wild Boars returned from Long Weekend to face the Rhinos in a home match.

WALLINGFORD, CT--Choate was handed its first loss of the season by the Bruins, with all the long, hard-fought matches falling the visitors' way.

WALLINGFORD, CT--The Blue and Gold prevailed in a competitive match against arch-rival Deerfield.

WEST HARTFORD, CT--The Wild Boars held off a tenacious Wyverns squad on the fast indoor courts at Kingswood-Oxford. Choate opened with impressive victories at #1 and #2 doubles and took three of the first four singles matches finished. Play in the #3 doubles and #5 and #6 singles was abandoned in progress once the team result was determined.

WALLINGFORD, CT--Though AP testing played havoc with the available line-up, all three Choate boys' tennis teams posted wins over Kent for a clean sweep.

ANDOVER, MA--The Wild Boars fought swirling winds and a scrappy P.A. team for a road victory. Choate swept the doubles and took four of the singles matches, including a pair of dramatic three-set victories.

WALLINGFORD, CT--The Blue and Gold swept its long-time tennis rival Hotchkiss. Though the Bearcats squad has been hampered by injury this season, the visitors fought hard. Choate moves to 7-0 in the League with this win.

WALLINGFORD, CT--Choate hosted eight of the top tennis teams in New England, with half the "A" and half the "B" fields competing at the Torrence Hunt Tennis Center on a spectacular day for tennis. Playing before an enthusiastic Reunion Weekend crowd, the Wild Boars bested a solid Groton squad--the defending Class "A" champions--in a morning quarterfinal match-up before falling to Deerfield in a heart-breakingly close semifinal tilt later in the day.

WESTPORT, CT--Missing #3 singles/#1 doubles player Mark Goldberg, the Wild Boars had a tough time with the deep and talented GFA team. The hosts took two of the doubles matches and the top four singles contests for the win.

AVON, CT--Although both squads--each undefeated in League play this spring--were eager to play this final dual match of the season, Mother Nature could not be coerced into giving us clear skies under which to compete. The Wild Boars waited nearly two hours on the Avon campus for courts to dry, but apparently it was not meant to be. Efforts to reschedule were foiled by continuing bad weather and end-of-term commitments at the two schools. Thus Choate and Avon Old Farms will share the 2003 championship. This constitutes the fourth straight title for the Blue and Gold and the sixth in the last seven years.

WALLINGFORD, CT--The doubles pair of fifth formers Karl Blunden and Mauricio Osorio advanced to the final of the NEPSITT doubles championship before falling in a competitive match. Teammates Angelo Coclanis '05 and Ming Ong '05 earned a semifinal berth in the doubles and Eliot Jia '06 played through to the quarterfinals of the main draw and the semis of the consolation bracket in the singles event.

WALLINGFORD, CT--Karl Blunden '04 defeated Ming Ong '05 in the final for the title of School Champion.
